We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our solar company and help manage our financial operations with accuracy and efficiency.
Duties
Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payments.
Manage general ledger accounting activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
Prepare financial statements, budgets, and financial reports. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support organizational planning.
Handle payroll processing and tax filings.
Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
Assist in financial audits and ensure proper documentation.
Work closely with management to provide financial insights and recommendations.
Stay updated with tax laws, industry regulations, and best accounting practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA or equivalent certification (preferred but not required).
Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the renewable energy or construction sector.
Proficiency/advanced skills in accounting software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets - for data analysis and reporting purposes.
Understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
Understanding of general ledger accounting practices.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
