Accounting Manager . In this pivotal role, you won't just close the books-you'll open doors to strategic insights, innovation, and team success.
*This position is a hybrid based in Hanover, PA. Accounting Manager The Accounting Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing the month-end general ledger close process, the account balance reconciliation process, and other accounting tasks. Additional responsibilities for this role include leading the staff and senior accountants within the corporate accounting department and assisting with complex and technical accounting matters.
What You'll Do: - Oversee month-end general ledger close and account balance reconciliation processes as well as assist with audits.
- Partner with the Financial Planning & Analysis and Supply Chain Finance teams to research variances to budget in order to provide financial insight to the executive team.
- Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Assist in complex accounting matters and technical accounting research.
- Assist in the implementation of new accounting pronouncements, technical accounting matters and financial reporting matters.
- Lead, organize, and coach other members of the corporate accounting department to achieve goals of the department.
What We're Looking For: - Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- 5+ years of accounting experience.
- CPA a plus.
Skills :
- Detail- and deadline-oriented with proven time management skills.
- Highly organized and able to coordinate multiple complex projects.
- Superior communication skills to communicate with Utz Stakeholders.
- Excellent computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power BI, and OneStream a plus.
