A Day in the Life:


A Production Cake Decorator is a skilled artisan responsible for the aesthetic design and decoration of cakes and pastries. Their role typically involves consulting with clients to understand their vision, creating preliminary designs, and executing the final decoration using a variety of techniques and edible materials. They must be proficient in working with different types of icing, fondant, and chocolate, and capable of sculpting intricate shapes. Collaboration with other bakery staff is essential to ensure timely completion of orders while maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene. Additionally, they manage inventory of supplies, keep workspaces clean, and stay updated with the latest trends in cake design.
