Job Title: Clinical Psychologist

Job Overview:
AIMS Locum Tenens is seeking a qualified Clinical Psychologist to deliver comprehensive mental health evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment services at the 28th Medical Group, Ellsworth AFB. This position focuses on individual and group psychotherapy, psychological evaluations, and working as part of a collaborative team to support the mental health and rehabilitation of service members. The psychologist will operate under personal services provisions and adhere to base clinic policies and hours.
General Duties:
- Provide services within the scope of MTF clinical privileges
- Deliver care consistent with ethical guidelines and license regulations
- Participate in patient treatment, diagnosis, documentation, and mental health planning
Specific Duties: - Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments using interviews, tests, and collateral information
- Establish psychiatric diagnoses per DSM standards
- Deliver individual and group psychological treatments
- Provide psychological support for medical/surgical patients and assist in patient rehabilitation
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records per clinic protocols
Qualifications:
- Degree: Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD)
- Education: Graduate from an APA-accredited program in clinical or counseling psychology
- Internship: Completion of an APA-accredited internship
- Experience: Must meet clinical competency as specified by MTF credentialing standards
- Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted psychologist license in any U.S. state or territory
Skills and Abilities: - Expertise in psychological testing, assessment, and therapy
- Strong diagnostic and treatment planning skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Clear and compassionate communication with patients

Schedule: - 8-hour workday scheduled between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
Physical Requirements: - Duties require normal clinical and administrative activity in an outpatient setting
Work Environment: - Outpatient mental health clinic within a military medical treatment facility
Immunization Requirement: - Must meet health screening standards including immunizations, TB testing, and respirator fitting if applicable
Security Requirement: - U.S. Citizenship required
- Tier 1 background check with fingerprinting required prior to start
- Security processing handled via government personnel office
