Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Med Spa Manager at Capizzi, MD Cosmetic Surgery & Med Spa in Charlotte, NC. The Medical Spa Manager leads all day-to-day med spa operations, ensuring exceptional client experiences and driving growth. Responsibilities include team leadership, operational efficiency, revenue generation, and medical/marketing collaboration. The ideal candidate has strong spa management experience, leadership skills, and a commitment to high service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruit, train, and supervise a team of aestheticians, injectors, front office staff, and other personnel. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  2. Operational Oversight: Ensure the efficient and smooth operation of all spa services, including scheduling, machine maintenance, client management, and inventory control. This also includes the building’s operations.
  3. Uphold a high level of customer service by addressing client concerns, ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
  4. Maintain adherence to all applicable health and safety regulations, licensing mandates, and industry benchmarks.
  5. Work to achieve revenue targets and implement strategies to increase profitability.
  6. Coordinate with medical professionals, including surgeons and OR Coordinator, to ensure seamless medical and aesthetic services integration.
  7. Work with the Director of Operations to develop and execute marketing plans that highlight spa services, events, and promotional activities.
  8. Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to maintain high service and client satisfaction standards.
  9. Prepares and delivers routine operational updates during scheduled meetings, ensuring clear and concise communication of key information to facilitate effective decision-making and team collaboration.
  10. Commits to professional growth and industry expertise by actively participating in all traveling educational seminars and in-person training sessions, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the latest advancements, trends, and best practices within the medical spa field.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Healthcare Administration, Certification in Spa Management, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other departments and leaders.
  • Proven experience in spa management, preferably in a medical spa setting.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management capabilities, fostering inspiration and motivation among staff.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various aspects of spa operations.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Capable of adjusting to shifting priorities and thriving in a fast-paced setting.Spa Management and Skin Care skills
