Job Description: Nanny/Housekeeper for 15-Month-Old

Location: Port Deposit, MD

Compensation: $30/hour, health insurance, 401k

Schedule: 10am – 6pm

A warm growing family with three dogs is seeking a reliable, energetic and optimistic Nanny/Housekeeper to care for their 15-month-old baby and assist with household tasks. This is a full-time, long-term position with the potential to evolve as their family expands. The ideal candidate will be seeking a long-term position, as the father is expected to be stationed overseas in two years. The family is looking for a trustworthy and supportive individual to provide assistance to the wife during this period, as they do not have family members residing nearby.

Responsibilities

Childcare:

• Provide loving, attentive care for our 15-month-old.
• Engage in age-appropriate, screen-free activities that encourage learning and development.
• Respect our family’s preferences regarding limited and specific screen time.
• Assist with feeding, diaper changes, and maintaining a consistent routine.

Housekeeping:

• Perform cleaning of the home, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
• Handle laundry for the entire family, including washing, folding, and putting away clothes.
• Maintain a tidy home, including kitchen cleaning and organizing.

General Support:

• Work alongside a stay-at-home mom, providing additional support as needed.
• Collaborate with parents to ensure the baby’s needs are met seamlessly.
• Adapt as the role evolves with the addition of more children.

Requirements

• Experience working as a Nanny/Housekeeper in a family setting.
• Comfortable with three friendly dogs.
• Healthy, active, and able to keep up with a toddler’s energy.
• Calm, unflappable demeanor and excellent organizational skills.
• Must be comfortable with child who isn't fully vaccinated.
