Insomniac Events is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Insomniac Music Group Marketing Intern to join the records team in Calabasas, CA. This position will be hands-on experience in an exciting, fast-paced, friendly and inspired setting. This position reports to the Director, Insomniac Music Group & Insomniac Music Group Marketing Specialist. This is a paid internship and not a remote position. Responsibilities include shadowing label department closely to help with certain label functions, managing the social media calendar and postings on certain label channels, developing and curating engaging content for social media platforms, conducting research and sourcing data for internal projects and marketing outreach, helping in developing the Insomniac Music Group influencer list and managing influencers, learning and supporting marketing campaigns as assigned, reporting release statistics, and shadowing onsite at festivals for brand activation, awareness and collecting show content. Qualifications include being 18 years or older, currently enrolled in an accredited college, university or trade school, able to work out of Calabasas, CA office, typical commitment of 16-29 hours per week, motivated with an “Everything is possible” attitude, active problem solver with a sense of urgency, and knowledge of dance music and Insomniac’s brands. Work environment requires willingness to travel during holidays, evenings and weekends as required, tolerance for loud noise levels and drastic temperature climates at event locations, and ability to work in open concept office space.
