We are looking for a Quality Inspector-Laser Tracker Inspector

Job Responsibilities
    \n
  • Support the assignments given to them by the Quality Inspection Team Leader;
  • \n
  • Perform quality inspection operations and complete the associated documentation;
  • \n
  • Apply the requirements of the Quality System in performance of daily assignments;
  • \n
  • Report any anomalies (non-conformances, time overruns, accidents) to the Quality Inspection Team Leader;
  • \n
  • Manage time responsibly (indirect time, breaks, etc.);
  • \n
  • Assist team members with technical support;
  • \n
  • Maintain the work area (cleanliness, organization, etc.);
  • \n
  • Take part in team meetings;
  • \n
  • Setup Laser Tracker as needed to accurately and efficiently inspect parts;
  • \n
  • Provide detailed reports for review by Engineering to support IDCs / NCs;
  • \n
  • Assist with Critical Feature placement in Manufacturing;
  • \n
  • Capture data and analyze for machine assessments;
  • \n

Requirements:

Educational Experience - Educational requirements may be fulfilled by one or more of the following: high school diploma, education in trade school, vocational education, or apprenticeship.

Experience - Must be a competent inspector possessing math, communication, and computer skills. Previous inspection experience is desired. Knowledge of Laser Tracking software a plus.

Physical Demands - The employee is required to:

  • stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to floor

  • exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or
  • \n
  • exert 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or
  • \n
  • exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Certification Required - No specific certifications are required for this position.

Visual Acuity - Near acuity and accommodation are required for inspection operations, random visual checks, reading machine dial gauges, blueprints, and precision measuring instruments used in the inspection of parts and machinery. Visual acuity testing is required annually. Accommodations must be made as required for reading and inspection activities.

Hearing Ability - Ability to communicate with employees.
