Registered Nurse RN Neuro ICU

About The Registered Nurse RN Neuro ICU Role

• Work in a 22-bed adult ICU caring for critically ill patients who have a range of neurological diagnoses such as neurotrauma, status epilepticus, stroke and spinal cord injury
• Care for patients with complex comorbidities and multisystem organ involvement
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a challenging, fast paced environment
• Engage in unit-based research efforts recognized globally
• Flexible/unit-based schedules that do not require floating to other units

Skills and Experience Required for a Registered Nurse RN Neuro ICU

• • BSN is preferred
  • Current licensure in Massachusetts as a registered nurse is required
  • Neuro and critical care experience are preferred, but candidates with experience in general acute care and demonstrating a strong interest in the neuroscience specialty will also be considered
  • This position requires you to work a day/night rotation shift
  • Ideal candidate has 2 years recent acute care RN experience, new grad RN's will not be considered.
