Job Description

A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the upcoming school year at a middle school location in Salem, NH. This contract role involves working 37.5 hours per week, with a daily schedule of 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a middle school caseload, providing comprehensive psychological assessments and support.
• Conduct approximately 50 re-evaluations over the course of the school year.
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student educational and emotional needs.
• Assist in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on assessment findings.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with district and legal guidelines.
• Attend relevant meetings, including eligibility and planning sessions.
• Note: This role does not require providing counseling services.

Qualifications:

• Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
• Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
• Experience working with middle school-aged students preferred.
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and special education laws.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple evaluations and reports within established timelines.
