Job Description

Seeking multiple Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLCAs) for a full-time contract position during the 2025-2026 school year in Kilgore, TX. This opportunity involves working with middle school students in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support speech-language pathologists with middle school caseloads.
• Assist in implementing AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) strategies and IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals.
• Work with students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Down Syndrome.
• Provide therapy services aligned with established treatment plans.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for school or healthcare settings.
• Experience working with middle school-aged children preferred.
• Familiarity with AAC devices and techniques.
• Understanding of IEP development and implementation.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
