Tax Accountant Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (CPA or CPA-eligible a plus).
• 2+ years of tax preparation and compliance experience.
• Strong understanding of tax codes and regulations.
• Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.

Tax Accountant Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns.
• Research and resolve tax issues for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Stay up to date with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Assist in tax planning strategies and client consultations.
• Maintain organized documentation and support audit readiness.
