Base pay range $48.00/hr - $58.00/hr Title: UX Researcher III Location: Seattle, WA Duration: 6 months Compensation: $48/hr - $58/hr Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S. Skillset / Experience: UX Researcher III Develop ergonomic and human factors research studies by utilizing appropriate methods, which may include experimental design, survey design and analysis, motion tracking and kinematics analysis, and relevant safety & comfort research approaches Collaborate with other researchers and engineers across teams to develop experiments, prototypes, and concepts that advance the state-of-the-art in AR/VR systems. Collaboratively and independently develop and execute research roadmaps Submit potential projects through research review and privacy process Strictly adhere to privacy, security and safety standards when working directly with participants or participant data Lead various research studies throughout all the phases of the product development cycle Conduct original data analysis and prepare presentations to communicate research findings Manage research vendors to help augment the work of the research team Experience in quantitative and qualitative UX research and study design. Experience working directly with human subjects. Extensive experience with data and utilizing numbers to define and support hypotheses. Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. Strong ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage one’s time. Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, sometimes ambiguous environment. Prior experience with Python, R, MATLAB, or equivalent for data analysis. Understanding of large database infrastructure (SQL) is a plus. Experience handling prototyped hardware and software in experimental design and study execution.
